Bram Stoker Award Finalist!

March 1st, 2013

Quick Update:

Bad Glass has made the Bram Stoker Award Final Ballot!  Really, I couldn’t be more chuffed.  I might even end up going to the convention/ceremony in New Orleans; I’m still working out the details.

A win still seems unlikely, but it’s nice to be recognized by an organization I’ve respected for such a long, long time.

I’m a little over 100 pages into Bad Glass and I’m totally loving it. I can’t remember who won Best First Novel, but must have been really good to beat this.

Thanks for the kind words, and I’m glad you’re liking Bad Glass. (Spread the word, tell your friends!)

As for the Bram Stoker, I was just thrilled my little book got nominated — pretty cool. Besides, a lot of my favorite authors lost in the first novel category (Caitlin R. Kiernan, Clive Barker, Poppy Z. Brite, Mark Z. Danielewski all lost), so I’m in some pretty good company. 🙂

      Thanks again,
